The Bradbury Building
Opened in 1893 the Bradbury Building is the oldest commercial building remaining in Los Angeles' downtown core. Designed by Sumner P. Hunt, George H. Wyman, it is located at the south east corner of Broadway and 3rd Street. With relatively simple Romanesque Revival exterior, what is unique about the Bradbury is its light-filled Victorian court of a main lobby that features a lot of wrought iron fixtures and two elevators of the era.
Besides being the oldest commercial building downtown, the Bradbury is most famous for its film rolls including The Artist (2011), Blade Runner (1982) where its interior served as Harrison Ford's apartment building, Double Indemnity (1944) and many more.
